2009 Viognier Arizona Stronghold Vineyard
The 2009 vintage was a tough one for our Arizona whites. A late Spring frost damaged many of the delicate flowers on our white vines, causing us to lose more than half of our total white grape crop. Despite the lack of quantity, we still got excellent quality – something this small bottling of Viognier epitomizes. This is the fifth year we’ve worked with this varietal from this vineyard and every year it shines.
