2009 Syrah Norte Block Arizona Stronghold Vineyards

This is my fourth year working with the fruit from Arizona Stronghold Vineyard’s Norte Block. Planted in 2001 by Sam Pillsbury and Al Buhl, this has consistently been our favorite block on the vineyard. Our production team is always dropping hints, asking strange questions or outright begging me to allocate as much of this fruit as possible to PSC and not the greedy forces at our sister company Arizona Stronghold. We’ve vineyard designated this Syrah every year we’ve had it which is a testament to its consistency and quality in this often unpredictable environment. Enjoy!
