2009 Syrah Golden Rule Vineyard

SOLD OUT

Golden Rule Vineyard is the latest project for pistachio growers Jim & Ruth Graham, operators of Cochise Groves, and their vineyard manager Don Sobey. This vineyard sits on the north end of the Dragoon Mountains near what was once the Golden Rule Mine. Both Arizona Stronghold and Golden Rule Vineyards are located in the Sulfur Springs Valley: ASV to the east, Golden Rule to the northwest. Despite this relationship, these wines are extremely different. This wine is less spicy, but possesses a much deeper, darker fruit character and a softer texture. This is yet another great example of just how well Syrah expresses site character.
