Bonita Springs is Arizona Stronghold’s newest vineyard. Located on the north end of the Sulfur Springs Valley (ASV lies in the east), the site has more granitic influence in its soils and it sits 200 feet higher in elevation. These soils and the coolness of the site have accented the exotic, aromatic-fruity aromas of the Malvasia with a marked mineral quality that makes this wine less playful and more serious. We are excited to have new Malvasia to work with in Arizona – this is a phenomenal grape for our region.
