2009 Grenache Colibri Vineyards
This is our second year working with the amazing fruit from Colibri Vineyards. Located on the northeast slopes of the Chiricahua Mountains at an elevation of 5200 feet, this vineyard has a very obvious site character. This is our mosst intensely flavored Arizona Grenache and it’s both a little unruly and a little refined. The polished, feminine fruit, silky texture and the hint of lipstick on the nose are balanced by a wild green spice, gritty tannis and an unmistakably Colibri earthiness.
