2009 Counoise Colibri Vineyards
SOLD OUT
This is just the second bottling of single-varietal Counoise in PSC’s history and our first from Arizona. While it is used frequently in Southern France as a bit-part blending grape, we think Counoise can be pretty special by itself. Grown at 5200 feet in fairly granitic soils near Portal, AZ, this high-elevation wine should make it obvious why this intensely spicy, acidic and fruity wine is so valued in blends and why just a little can go a long way.
