08 Arizona Stronghold Vineyard Viognier
2008 was a great year for Arizona whites and especially this Viognier. The cooler summer allowed the grapes to retain more acidity while still developing the beautiful aromatics so characteristic of this varietal and of Arizona Stronghold Vineyards. We inhibited malolactic fermentation to further preserve this wine’s definition and aged it for 6 months in neutral oak to add a little more complexity and a touch of roundness in the mouth. Our freshest and crispest Arizona Viognier to date. Drink now through 2013.
