08 Arizona Stronghold Vineyard Chardonnay
This classic, Old-World styled Chardonnay is picked early, then fermented in stainless steel, aged in neutral oak and malolactic fermentation is inhibited. This approach helps the wine retain freshness and acidity, while the tenure in neutral oak broadens and softens the palate. Grown at our vineyard in Kansas Settlement southeast of Tucson, this wine is the perfect expression of our high-elevation desert landscape. Who could imagine that a wine from Arizona could taste so Burgundian? Drink now through 2013.
