Words, grunts, emotive dance moves: nothing can describe my excitement for Arizona wines. This Aussie Clone 1 Syrah from the Norte Block of Stronghold Vineyards captures so much of my emotion for this year in a single bottle. We used 100% neutral oak on this wine because the vineyard is so obvious and dramatic. Deep raspberry/blackberry, tea, red clay, earthy spice, rose petals, soy — you can lose yourself in the glass.
