05 Mules Mistake

Continuing with the tradition of last year’s Mule’s (which our assistant winemaker still contends was not a mistake), the 2005 version is a bright, fruity, spicy red that should be drinkable all summer when served slightly chilled. It may be hard, but try to save a bottle for Thanksgiving on the advice of one of our wine club members who paired this with turkey and cranberries last year. The 2005 blend contains 50 percent Carignan for its bright cherry fruit and 50 percent Zinfandel to add the spice. Enjoy what we hope will become a summer tradition for all our friends and members.
