03 Vino de la Familia
Vino de la Familia, Wine of the Family, shows what the amazing grape Petite Sirah can do. Densely fruity on the nose and palate, and inky to the eye, its hard not to pay attention to this wine. Petite Sirah, known in France as Durif, is a child of the well known Syrah and fairly unknown grape named Peloursin. In the States, Petite has a long history of use as a blending grape for improving color in wines from jug to bottle. It is only in the last decade that Petite has gained the notoriety it deserves.
